The foundation of all the work in this Church is grounded in the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour and that all people need to come to a personal faith in Him and experience the reality of His presence in their lives. Outreach is our priority.

for the under 5s
Thursday mornings from 9.30 - 11.30am.
No admission charges and all are welcome. A
mid morning snack is provided, tea and coffee available.
Scrabble Club Meets regularly at our Church on the first and last Wednesday afternoons.
We play for fun and are not
deadly seriously, but if we win we are extra pleased! It doesn't matter if you're not too good with words, we help each other
if we're struggling. We have a cup of tea and biscuits half way through the afternoon, and anyone who would like to join us
from 1.45pm to 4pm in the Guild Room would be very welcome.
From 3.30pm to 5.00pm on the second Sunday of each month. A different Bible story each month links all the activities during
the celebration time together, closing our family time with a meal. This concept has been hugely successful all over the UK and is
a mixture of crafts and activities based on a Biblical theme that leads into a short time of celebration, including music and stories
and then sharing a meal together - no charge for the meal but donations appreciated. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Callington Mayfest - A Giant Thank You to all who helped with Mayfest and to those who made and served home-made
cakes and drinks, which raised £64.70 for Church Funds and everyone who helped with making and parading our Giant Caterpillar.
Thanks to all who supported Toddle-in and the The Giant Wiggle - £67 was raised for Action for Children. We all had a great day!
Events that take place in our building ...
It is pleasing to see that our building continues to be used regularly throughout
the week for breakfasts, lunches, coffee mornings, Junior Church, Bible-Studies, Prayer Meetings, Sunday and mid-week Worship,
Scrabble Club, Guild Evenings, Table-Tennis Club, Youth Club ... in addition to regular bookings by local organisations like art classes,
choir/ orchestra rehearsals, country dancing, Cornish Language, St John Badgers, U3A groups and so on. We are very pleased with
the way our work with families and youngsters continues to develop through our monthly Messy Church and weekly meetings of both Toddle-In
and Open the Book at the local Primary School. Through its committees, the Church regularly reviews the extent to which its
resources are being well used. Your gifts will certainly help to ensure that all the present good work done through this Church
can grow, both to provide a central focus in our Circuit and in the wider town community, where ecumenical relationships are strong.
